The Change WE Need Begins with YOU!

and a panel including: Nessette Falu, Seek the Poet, Prada Capri, Amber David, and other special guests.

Transformation is a partnered vision of the African-American State of Emergency Task Force in the Fight Against HIV/AIDS, St. Hope Foundation’s Fusion Program, and Brothas Speaking that is being birthed to give members of the African-American GLBT community a safe place to discuss issues that are important to the overall physical, emotional, and spiritual health and wholeness of our community. It is also designed to address the disproportionate rates of HIV infections in the African-American community. Topics will include but not be limited to:

1. HIV/AIDS: How does it affect YOU!
- You, the man who loves men
- You, the woman who loves women
- You, the bisexual who loves both men and women
- You, the transgender, transsexual, drag king, drag queen, man by day…woman by night

2. Transforming ourselves into a HEALTHY GLBT community… ERASING all the lines.
- How can Black GLBT be a more unified front?

3. Identifying the role YOU play in the transformation WE need as a community.
